Killerby Old Hall - Owls Rest

Owls Rest is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house at Killerby Old Hall, a cluster of holiday properties in North Yorkshire within a couple of miles of the coast. The ground floor opens into a combined living and dining space that flows into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics. Upstairs, the first floor has a double bedroom with ensuite shower and a second double sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. Two more bedrooms on the second floor each contain a pair of single beds; one shares access to a bathroom, the other does not.

The house sleeps eight and is yours alone. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. Outside, there's an enclosed garden with seating and an outdoor hot tub for private use. Guests also have access to the shared facilities on the grounds: an indoor heated swimming pool open year-round, a children's play area, bike storage and parking for two cars. The on-site bistro, Nine Eighty, serves food daily. Smoking is not permitted inside.

From here you can reach Cayton Bay's beach, explore the North Yorkshire coast between Filey and Scarborough, or simply stay put and use the pool and garden. The Stained Glass Centre is nearby for a quieter outing.
