The Perthshire landscape around Perth and Kinross draws people for its hills, rivers and access to the Highlands. Balnamuir Farmhouse is a detached property on a working farm in this region, privately yours for the duration of your stay. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a ground-floor kingsize with ensuite shower, and three further bedrooms upstairs containing zip-and-link and single beds to suit different group combinations. Three bathrooms and a separate toilet mean no queuing in the mornings.
Downstairs, a living room with woodburner and smart TV looks out to the back garden, where a patio and seating area face open countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi are included; bring your own towels. One dog is welcome provided it stays on a lead—this is an active farm. Parking for four cars sits on site. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The nearby River Tummel offers fishing and water sports, while Ben Vrackie and surrounding peaks draw walkers of all abilities. Pitlochry, a short drive away, has the Festival Theatre and other attractions. The Cairngorms National Park is also within easy reach, and several whisky distilleries operate in the area.
