Castle Peroch is a detached tower house built in the 1800s, standing on the Kinnaird Estate in Highland Perthshire near Dunkeld. The building sits within 6000 acres of natural grounds that include woodland, lochs and working farmland. One dog is welcome. The setting is genuinely remote—the nearest town is Perth, several miles away—but the estate has its own fishing (licence and fee required) and woodland walks on the shared grounds, plus a patio positioned to catch the valley views.
Inside: a ground-floor living room with an open fire (fuel included), kitchen/dining room with dishwasher and electric cooking, and a study with a sofa bed that doubles as a sleeping space. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a bathroom with shower and bath. A separate toilet is also on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included; the property has its own spring water supply. There is parking for two cars on site and an electric charging point.
The lawned garden has a patio with furniture and a gas barbock. The grounds contain steps, slopes and water features, so families with young children should take care. No smoking inside. There is a single step to the entrance.
