Kinnaird Estate sprawls across more than 6000 acres of Highland Perthshire countryside—a working farm with woodland, lochs and mountains. Jock Scott Cottage occupies a quiet corner of the estate courtyard, a semi-detached property where ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate. From the decking, you look out over the grounds toward the River Tay.
Inside, a spacious living room with beamed ceilings opens onto that decking through French doors. The kitchen-diner is fully equipped for cooking and comes with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom and wet room sit on the same level, the bed a zip-and-link super king (or two singles if preferred). Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is oil central. You have private parking for one car and an enclosed garden with a sitting-out area and gas barbecue.
The estate grounds contain steep banks, sudden drops, a pond and lochs—worth noting if you're bringing children. One dog is welcome, kept on a lead (it's a working farm). Fishing is available on-site for a fee and requires a licence. No smoking.
