There for one night with work.Good big room clean.and with shower. Lovely staff and breakfast included. Relaxed atmosphere. Slighty out of the way for town but nice walk, 20-30 mins, by the river path taking you straight to the shopping area. Obviously depends on the weather...😉🙂

Really nice safe hotel with extremely competent and friendly staff. Room was super clean and the bed massive. Because of the reviews, I decided to avoid the nearby pub so had a meal in the hotel from their menu. It was perfectly prepared and cooked and was excellent. Would choose this hotel again any day

We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Harley, who greeted us, was especially friendly and helpful, setting a lovely tone for our visit. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. When we asked for extra tea and coffee for the room, the team happily provided it without any problem. It was clear that the staff genuinely wanted to help with anything we needed. We ordered food from the restaurant and had it in our room, and it was delicious. The Caesar salad was excellent—I would highly recommend it—and the Margherita pizza was also very nice. The drinks were served perfectly cold, which made everything even better. In the morning, the breakfast team were just as welcoming—very attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Their positive attitude made the start of the day even better. You can really tell that the management is doing a great job. From the top level down, it reflects in the staff being happy, friendly, and professional. There seems to be a very positive culture throughout the hotel. Overall, the service was excellent and the whole experience felt warm and relaxed. A big thank you to Harley at reception, to Kimberly and the breakfast team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again! 😊
