Holmewood Lakes - Kingfisher Lodge

The River Tees is minutes away, open to kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing if you bring your own kit, or simply for a walk along the water. Yarm itself—a short drive off—has independent shops, cafés and a riverside setting worth an afternoon. The countryside around holds scenic walks and cycling routes; there's also a private jetty on the grounds where you can launch boats or cast a line.

Kingfisher Lodge is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom lodge sleeping two, built in cedar and positioned to face the lake. Ground floor throughout: open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking (electric oven, gas hob, microwave), and a bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower. Outside, decking with garden furniture and a private four-person hot tub. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is electric. Parking for two cars on site. One pet stays free. Note that the grounds include an unfenced lake, and smoking is not permitted.
