Holmewood Lakes - Swan Lake Lodge

Swan Lake Lodge is a contemporary wooden lodge built as a complete retreat within the Holmewood Lakes grounds near Yarm. The structure combines natural cedar with modern interiors across a single ground floor, arranged as one flowing living space with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Two bedrooms, each with a kingsize bed and walk-in shower, mean four guests can stay without compromise. The real draw is the private hot tub on the decking—positioned to feel secluded while overlooking the lake—and the grounds themselves, which invite you to sit outside and do very little.

The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: gas cooker and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and a wine cooler if you're settling in for several days. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided. There's private parking for two cars on site, and one well-behaved pet can come along for free. The lodge does not permit smoking.

Holmewood Lakes sits within reach of the River Tees, which opens up options for kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing if you want to venture beyond the grounds. A private jetty is available to guests who bring their own water sports equipment. Those after a quieter break will find the lakeside setting does most of the work.
