Holmewood Lakes - Nightingale Lodge

Nightingale Lodge is a ground-floor cedar-built lodge sleeping four across two bedrooms, each with an ensuite shower room and smart TV. The open-plan living space brings together kitchen, dining and sitting areas without steps between them. You get a gas cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and wine cooler, along with electric heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi included in the rate. The first bedroom has a zip-and-link king bed that can be split into two singles on request; the second has a standard king bed.

Outside, a private decking area with garden furniture and a four-person hot tub overlooks the lakes. The grounds have three steps, and parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The lodge sits at Holmewood Lakes near Yarm, where the River Tees is within walking distance and brings scope for water sports if you have your own equipment, fishing, and waterside walks. The wider countryside around offers cycling routes and scenic paths. No smoking indoors.
