The Granary

The Granary is a converted barn on the edge of moorland near Tavistock, with everything you need for a complete stay already provided. Electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine for real cooking and laundry. The open-plan living area combines a comfortable sofa, woodburner and smart TV with a dining space and skylights that flood the room with daylight. Bedrooms are a double (4ft 6in) and bunk beds; the bathroom has a shower over the bath and heated towel rail.

Ground-floor living keeps things straightforward, with patio doors from the living space onto a private garden where a hot tub sits ready for four people. There's parking for two cars and a welcome pack on arrival. The property suits families or groups of four, and one dog can stay free. No smoking inside. Water comes from a private borehole rather than mains supply.
