Grisedale View

Grisedale View occupies part of a former farmstead near Mungrisdale, converted from an old stable block and positioned to catch views down across the Fells. The whole property is yours alone. Ground floor means no stairs: a combined living and dining space with a 32" TV and electric fire, a kitchen with oven and hob for proper cooking, one double bedroom and one with two single beds, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and heating are included; there's a private garden with sitting-out area and parking for two cars on site.

The cottage sits within seven acres of shared grounds at the end of a tree-lined drive across farmland, yet the A66 between Penrith and Keswick is close by, as are Ullswater and Pooley Bridge. The location suits walkers and anyone wanting to explore the National Park without being in its busier centre. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. An external utility room in the courtyard has a washing machine and tumble dryer available at cost. The property does not permit smoking.
