Howe Top

Rolling farmland and distant fells form the backdrop to Howe Top, a converted stable block on the grounds of a former Lake District farm. The cottage sits on an elevated position with views across Mungrisdale and Caldbeck Fells, surrounded by seven acres of landscaped grounds shared with other holiday properties on the site. A private drive leads through open countryside, though the A66 and nearby market towns of Penrith and Keswick are within easy reach.

Inside, everything is on the ground floor with three steps to the entrance. The open-plan living space has a 32-inch Freeview television and electric fire, while the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. One bedroom has a double bed; the other contains two single beds that can be linked to form a kingsize on request. A single bathroom has a bath with shower and heated towel rail. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared courtyard utility room. The garden has a patio with furniture for sitting out.

The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one dog at no extra charge. Parking is provided for two cars, and there is a bike store and electric vehicle charging point on site. No smoking inside.
