The Lake District has walks in abundance, and Tarn Cottage puts you at the start of them. Grasmere, Ambleside, Coniston and Windermere are all within reach by car for their shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries. A pub sits less than a mile away. The area inspired Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, and the countryside speaks for itself from your front garden.
The cottage itself is built around comfort: downstairs, a woodburner and smart TV in the living room, a kitchen with electric oven and hob for cooking, and a cellar accessed from the kitchen. Upstairs, two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a family bathroom with bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included in the price. Parking is on site.
This is a whole property to yourself, sleeping four. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside. Check-in is after 15:30 and checkout before 10:00.
