The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage sleeping two in Ambleside, within a mile of the coast. The Lake District's main attractions—Windermere, fell walks, and the town's shops and cafés—are all within easy reach on foot or by car. Ambleside bus interchange (Stand 1) is nearby for onward journeys.

The cottage is yours alone. It has a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table with chair suitable for working, and a TV. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is no kitchen facility, so this suits those planning to eat out or staying short-term. Off-site parking for one vehicle is available free of charge, a five-minute walk away; short-stay street parking is also close by for unloading. The room sits towards the rear of the building, away from the main road. Smoking is not permitted.
