About Old Pasture Park
This adults-only gem sits peacefully in North Yorkshire countryside, just seven miles from York, with its own tranquil lake and a working farm atmosphere complete with suckler cows and calves grazing the surrounding fields. The lake path makes a perfect dog walk circuit, while the water's resident ducks, oystercatchers and moorhens provide gentle wildlife-watching entertainment. Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve is fifteen minutes away for longer rambles.
A cycling track one and a half miles out connects to Selby, where you'll find a medieval abbey and 15th-century gatehouse worth exploring. York itself – twenty minutes' drive – offers the full historic package: the Minster, the Shambles, homemade fudge shops. There's a bus service forty metres from the entrance if you'd rather leave the car.
With just a handful of pitches, both grass and hardstanding options fully serviced, it's an intimate setup. Dog-friendly village pubs surround the site for mealtimes, and two golf courses lie within seven miles if you're keen.

What visitors say
A perfect place for a relaxing break. Beautiful grounds, with a lake, trees and lots of wildlife. We stayed in the Foxclove hut, which is beautiful and right on the edge of the lake. A taxi to York costs around £12 and would also recommend a visit to nearby Cawood, with breakfast at the Village Tea Room. We will definitely stay again!

Hi all, if your looking to escape into complete bliss this is the perfect location, beautiful location approachable owners. The shepards hut was very clean, modern, exceptional shower, the bed pulled out into a double, the pillows and matress very comfortable, i personally found were you push the 2 mattresses up to eachother one matress escapes the other and leaves a gap which was slightly uncomfortable but could have been something i hadent done properly when converting into a double. Overal we would come back for a longer stay for sure...... Many thanks Paul

A great find, what a lovely little site, if you're looking for somewhere nice and quiet, this is the perfect place. Only a short drive to York. Very peaceful in a lovely setting, the owners were friendly but left us to it. Great little site, We'll definitely be going back there.

We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas, the site is perfect. Set on a working farm in a beautiful part of York. Pitches are large, level and fully serviced. Very well maintained site with everything we needed. We will definately come back, very inpressed. Thank you all concerned for your obvious hard work at the site, you should be proud of what you have created here.
