About The Bungalow Caravan Site
There are many things to like about The Bungalow Caravan Site – besides its charming owners Andrew and Sonia. Top of the list must surely be the location: this quiet adults-only site sits in the Ouse valley, surrounded by open countryside and yet a mere 15 minutes' drive from the centre of York. With just a handful of hardstanding and grass pitches, each equipped with 16-amp hookups, it's an intimate base for exploring the city and surrounding villages.
Getting out and about is remarkably easy. Woodland walks start right from the site, while a bus stop at the entrance offers regular services into York. Bicycles are available for hire if you fancy pedalling the trails to Selby or the tearooms in nearby Moreby village. Note that there are no on-site toilets or showers, so you'll need to be self-sufficient. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads throughout your stay.

Lovely little campsite with the added bonus of peacocks roaming free, Andrew was very helpful and on hand if you needed him but otherwise left you to it. The bus for York stopped right outside so very handy for a day touring the city. Reinforced pitches made being on grass fine but also had gravel pitches, pitches were also serviced so no need for refilling water all in all it was perfect for our little stay and we will be back, thank you Andrew x

Lovely quiet site adults only . Close to public services and York outlet. Owner lovely man very helpful and keeps the site tidy. No facilities but disposal for waste water and grey . Has electricity and water supply.

Nice quiet campsite, water, elson and electric hook up. No toilet/showers so need to be self contained. Bus stop outside 25mins to york center. Every 2 hours. Very reasonable price.

Great simple site, each pitch has drainage, electrical points these are grouped together so a long 10 meter cable is a must. There is a shared water supply that you can fill your canister up on and an area to empty the loo canister. There are no toilets or showers on site. A bus that stops directly outside the site that can take you to either York or Selby. Lovely site, nice and quiet.
