🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Heworth Village

Heworth Village sits in a quiet residential area within walking distance of York city centre, with local shops, a pub and takeaways nearby. The semi-detached house itself dates from the Arts and Crafts era and retains period details including original stained glass around the front door and wood-panelled hallway. Rooms are bright and generously proportioned throughout.

Downstairs, the dining room has a large bay window at the front. Behind it, the living room opens onto a patio and enclosed lawned garden—useful for sitting out after exploring the city. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and other essentials. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one with a double bed (4ft 6in), one with two singles, and one single. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, plus a separate toilet. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One car can park on the drive; additional spaces are available on the road nearby. The property is non-smoking.

This suits families or groups of friends wanting a base to visit York, with enough space and comfort for a week or a long weekend.
