What visitors say
We were greeted with a warm welcome and a young man told us about the artefacts in the museum with great detail and enthusiasm. The outdoor events for easter were great. We liked the egg race, decorating plant pots and learning more about the iron age. The puppet show was brilliant and very entertaining. A nice cafe too. We would visit again. Thank you to the amazing volunteers!

Fantastic open air, living museum. This is the way to get folks into archaeology and ancient history. Lovely staff who are all very knowledgeable. Enjoyed that you could wander around after the guided part of the tour to enjoy the space at your own pace. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, worth the price of admission.

Very interesting place to visit. Staff are in period costume and are very informative. Life back then must have been very hard. Only 4 stars because the actual crannog is not quite ready to visit.
