Bod Coed is a stone cottage in the village of Penmachno, equipped for people who want to cook proper meals and sort themselves out between days outdoors. The kitchen handles everything from trail-packing to proper dinners, and a utility room with laundry means you can deal with muddy kit without fuss. A woodburning stove warms the lounge for evenings in. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.
Upstairs are two bedrooms sleeping six—a double, a room with bunks, and another double—served by a shower room. The village has a shop and pub within walking distance. Snowdonia's walking and cycling routes start from your door, and Betws-y-Coed is nearby for bigger shops and restaurants. One well-behaved dog can come with you. The cottage is no-smoking. Parking is on a first-come basis in nearby spaces rather than at the property itself.
