About A Haven Townhouse
A Haven Townhouse suits couples and adults travelling without children who want a straightforward, quiet base rather than a big city-centre hotel. Set on Ferry Road in Edinburgh, the building dates from 1862 and keeps something of that townhouse character, with 14 rooms that are simple and comfortable rather than designed to impress, each with its own en-suite bathroom.
Breakfast and Wi-Fi in the public areas are included, and there's a bar on site along with drinks available in the room, a garden to sit out in, luggage storage and 24-hour reception for flexible arrivals. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus for anyone driving up, saving the usual hunt for space in the city.
Edinburgh Zoo is a nearby point of interest, and the surrounding area has pubs, restaurants, cycling and walking routes, plus golf, fishing and watersports further afield for those wanting to get outdoors. Edinburgh Waverley station is a short distance away, making it workable as a base for exploring the city by public transport as well as by car.

A lovely, homey accommodation in Leith. A short bus ride to the city, a short walk to Leith Shore. I loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Comfy beds, fantastic breakfast and top service from David and the team. Super helpful for all questions i had. Would absolutely recommend.

Always a pleasure to stay at A Haven Town House. David the owner and his crew always help with a lovely stay. It is a bit off the main touristy areas, but with 3 buslines nearby you can get anywhere in time while having your quiet and peace. The rooms are a bit worn down, but clean. It generally feels a bit like home away from home!

It was so nice, one of the best hotels I have been so far! Especially the service was nice. I gave most other hotels 5 stats for service too, but now I wish I didn't, because I can't give Haven one more star than the others :D Every breakfast was a highlight for us, the personal service was excellent and they even asked what out plans for the day were and gave nice tipps. I never experience such cool service during breakfast, usually it's just a buffet. The rooms were also nice, large and beautiful. We loved it. The bathroom was nice and there was a extra heater you could turn on to make the room nice and comfy in a minute. The hotel is perfectly reachable via bus, we used busses every day and they are very cheap to use, so that's nice! We are already planning to visit again in about 1 1/2 years and are really looking forward to it. The WLAN was nearly not usable, disconnects every half minute. But okay I guess, we were here for exploring the city anyways :D

This place is the definition of cozy. It is more like a bed and breakfast with a little more privacy. The people who work there are super nice. It is super close to a bus station that will take you into the heart of Edinburgh. Which makes it a great place to stay. But at the end of the day you can get out of the hustle and bustle and find some quiet. Also they have their own car parking area. Also breakfast was very good! Just to note if you are looking for modern and amenities this is not the place for you. Also there is no elevator here so it may be challenging for people with mobility issues.
