Simply put , I arrived to one look at the bed in a cupboard and left . The wardrobe is a hook with a coat hanger , the tea bag is from a multi pack and not wrapped for hygiene, and towels were drying on the radiators upon enter, the only thing missing was a flee invested Dog for this to a an RSPCA advert.. £180 to stop in this place Wow and don’t say it was advertised as budget cause even that has standards! And you could have contact us to discuss upon arrival cause, no matter how much u tried it wasn’t going to fix the room….please learn from my mistake go else where ! #Homelessshelter #Parkbench

The room was freezing cold and the windows are is single glassed . When we asked the manager to solve the heating issue she basically said this is what you get for what you paid if I raised the temperature it means you will be charged more. We booked via booking and unfortunately when we complained to them they sided with her and told us that the best they could do is to give us a full refund and we could leave ! At the middle of the night with no other reservation in the New Year’s Eve! We mad this reservation a month in advance looking for affordable accommodation and you’re telling us now that the room is not going to be heated properly!! I personally had an awful experience also I would never book via booking again Airbnb have more respect for their costumers

Keep away from this place!!! We've booked it via Booking.com thinking that it's a value for money place a bit outside of Edinburgh centre. We couldn't be more wrong. - The room is cold, the window do not isolate. - Nor the walls nor window aren't soundproof. You can practically hear your neighbours chatting and everything else. - We had a street facing room. The feeling was like being in a tent in the middle of a junction. - The bathroom is small, the shower cabin basis looks like a price of wood already falling apart. We didn't try the shower, but I believe what others say that the water is pouring to the room below. - The location is awful, you need to take a bus or taxi to get close to Edinburgh center. And this place stating here on Maps like 4-start hotel :D It's a joke and a scam the same time. Do not book it and stay if you want to have good time in Edinburgh.

The room needs a fresh coat of paint and a little TLC. The bathroom is quite small, with a bit of mould in the shower, which wasn't very pleasant. Hot water at all times, which was nice. Bedding seemed clean enough. Room service came after we left for the day and made our bed. Did not provide any extra body wash or shampoo sachets(10ml) even though we have used the provided ones the day before (had to buy our own). Room is not very sound proof, you can hear people talking in their rooms, walking up and down the stairs, etc. Nice sized tv, which was lovely to watch in the evening without having to squint. However, the remote was VERY dusty and gross... Check out is strictly 10.30 am, which personally seems a little early as normally this is 11am at other places. Location wise, you have buses very close by that go in all sorts of directions. This is a bonus if you are planning on exploring the surrounding areas and not just the centre. There is a boots pharmacy and a little supermarket around the corner, which is also nice for any quick essentials. I think it should've maybe been a little cheaper for what it was. But overall it was a nice stay.
