About Premier Inn Edinburgh Park Airport
Lochside Court sits within Edinburgh Park, a business district crossed by tram lines and served by a nearby train station, making this Premier Inn a practical base for reaching both the city centre and the airport without fuss. The wider area mixes office blocks with green space, and Edinburgh Zoo is within easy reach for a day out.
The hotel has 200 rooms spread across five floors, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in-room, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. Bedrooms are generally quiet and well-proportioned, with comfortable beds, though a few rooms show their age and could do with sharper upkeep. A lift serves all floors, and reception operates around the clock.
Meals are taken care of on-site, with a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner that guests rate highly, and a bar nearby for a drink afterwards. On-site parking is available for a charge. Staff are consistently described as friendly and ready to help, which counts for a lot when you're catching an early tram or a late flight.
What guests say
The customer service at this hotel is non-existent! No one answers the phone, no one is at the front desk, everything is digitized. Heavens forbid you have a question! The room was spacious and nice, although one of the UBS connectors was broken and I do not know if the personnel were informed since there is no one to whom report it. The cooling/heating system takes a long while to get going. It was about an hour before it got cooler after we arrived. This hotel is NOT an easy access from/to the airport. From Edinburgh you can take a train from Waverley Station at a cost of £3.60 one way, and it will take you right to the hotel as it is located behind the station. Reaching this hotel from, or to get to the airport, you can take the tram that runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM between those two locations. If you have to catch an early flight, too early for the tram, you have to call a taxi. The cost for us was about £25 for a 3 mile ride! This hotel DOES NOT offer a shuttle or breakfast. Good to stay in it if you have your own car or NOT have an early morning flight, or don't have to talk to "customer service".

I have stayed in many Premier Inn hotels across England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, and I can confidently say that this particular hotel in Edinburgh is the best of them all. In every aspect — from cleanliness and overall standards to customer service and location — it truly stands out. I have been returning to this hotel for over three years, and instead of declining, the quality continues to improve. The team clearly makes a consistent effort to take excellent care of their guests, and it really shows. The entire staff is highly professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I have never once been disappointed — whenever I needed assistance, they were always there, ready to help and willing to go the extra mile. Their kindness and positive attitude make every stay a pleasure. I would especially like to thank the wonderful hotel manager, Ewelina, who approaches her role with both professionalism and a personal touch. She genuinely cares about guests, takes the time to listen, and ensures that everyone feels well looked after. The standards at this hotel are exceptionally high, even compared to other Premier Inn locations. I must also mention the breakfasts — they are noticeably better than in other Premier Inns, more carefully prepared, and simply more delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh. If you are looking for comfort, great service, and a consistently excellent experience, this is definitely the place to stay.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The biggest advantage of the property is its impeccable cleanliness – every corner, both the guest rooms and common areas, is maintained to the highest standard, which immediately creates a very positive impression and greatly enhances the comfort of your stay. Special recognition also goes to the hotel’s Manager, Ewelina. She performs her duties perfectly, is extremely helpful, always ready with advice and support, and her dedication and professionalism ensure that every guest feels exceptionally well cared for. Thanks to service like this, your stay becomes even more pleasant. The entire property is excellently managed, the staff are friendly and polite, and the accommodation fully meets all expectations. I will definitely return here, and I recommend this place to others with absolute confidence!

Stayed here for a few nights during a short trip to Edinburgh and had a really pleasant experience overall. We arrived a little early, so our room was not quite ready yet. Therefore, we headed to the nearby KFC before returning later to check in. The self check-in screens were only partly working and would not register the room key properly, so we still had to queue at reception to get it sorted. It also seemed to be a common issue for other guests at the time. However, once we got to the room, everything was exactly what you would expect from Premier Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and both beds were very comfortable. The location was also excellent. We chose this hotel because we had an early flight and wanted to stay close to the airport. In addition, it was very convenient for visiting Edinburgh Zoo by taxi, while the tram stop right outside made getting into the city centre quick and easy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Guests consistently praise this hotel for its quiet and spacious rooms featuring comfortable beds, along with the tasty breakfast and dinner available at the restaurant. The very friendly and helpful staff and the convenient location adjacent to tram and train stations, providing easy city and airport access, are also frequently highlighted.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be poorly maintained.
