Inzievar - Lime Tree Cottage
Fife
Photo: Google Maps
Lime Tree Cottage is a detached house set among trees in rural Fife, with rolling farmland beyond. The whole property is yours alone, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms: a ground-floor bedroom with a double and single pull-out bed, a first-floor double, and a room with two singles. There are two bathrooms. Everything needed for cooking and everyday life is provided—a full kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels included in the cost. You have private parking for three cars on site.
The cottage works well as a base for exploring central Scotland. Culross, a seventeenth-century village with distinctive crow-stepped gables, lies three miles away. Dunfermline, five miles south and Scotland's former capital, has restaurants, shops and leisure facilities. Woodland walks start from the door. Shops and pubs are within a couple of miles. The property does not permit smoking. Note that the stairs are open, steep and narrow.
