What visitors say

David Rasmussen

Charming small museum about the nature and animals on and around Islay. 🪲🐬🦭 Well worth a visit, especially if you are visiting Islay with kids! They had a coloring room, aquariums, plenty of interesting books and a series of microscopes which you can try out. 🔬🦠 We had a blast and look forward to coming back next time we visit the island. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Another small but great museum. Plenty of hands on exhibits for bairns. Showcases the wildlife of the island in a fun educational way. Particularly enjoyed the beehive exhibit.

Really engaging couple of hours spend learning from a wealth of expertise on topics from whales to geology. Kids were fully absorbed and adults learned loads too. Lilly the lobster was a highlight.
