We had a lovely afternoon here. There are a few different routes you can walk on. The signs are marked well. It’s dog friendly. There are plenty of spaces, and there’s a cafe too. We sat outside as it was a lovely day. This is such a peaceful place to come for a walk. You can truly enjoy nature and hear the sounds of the birds. It is quite a long way from the main roads, so bear that in mind. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful walk.

Extraordinary underwhelming. Largely overgrown you really have to use your imagination to imagine what it must have been like in it's hayday. Right now you get short but poorly signposted walks, overgrown waterways missing the visible water, a few nice flowers near the entrance, a decent summer courtyard area with a few toys to keep kids amused and the usual overpriced NT cafe. I'm an NT member who loves much of what they offer, but my best summary of Fyne Court would be it's cheap, for a reason! If you're mobile in the area, try Dunster Castle and gardens. That's NT at it's best.

Lots of birdsong at Fyne Court yesterday. This once magnificent Georgian Mansion, in the Quantock Hills, was destroyed by fire in 1894. Only the music room, library, walled garden and various follies, ponds and cascades remain scattered around the beautiful woodlands.
