Fakenham sits on the edge of North Norfolk's coast, and September Cottage puts you within easy reach of the shoreline. The beach lies just over a mile away; closer still are the town's shops, pubs and restaurants. A seasonal train runs from the quayside out to the sand, and the harbour itself is near enough for an afternoon of crabbing or a walk to watch the boats.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king and a double upstairs, two singles on the top floor, and a bathroom with shower. Downstairs, the living room has a woodburner and TV, the dining room flows into a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, and there's a separate toilet. Parking for two cars is on site. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are all included; fuel for the woodburner is available locally. A travel cot and highchair are provided, and a welcome pack awaits on arrival. The small enclosed courtyard has garden furniture and a barbecue.
The property is not suitable for those with mobility issues—the stairs are steep and narrow. Smoking is not permitted. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
