Drysuit required for swimming. So disappointing. I saw the reviews and thought with the new ownership things may have changed. Such a shame because the pool is actually a really nice space for children. I used to take my children years ago and it was always a great place to be but now, it’s bloody freezing. I was only able to stay in there with my granddaughter for 20 minutes, she just got far too cold. Apparently they are doing a refurb but honestly it would be pointless and a waste of money if they don’t do something about the temperature of that pool. I would avoid it unless you are used to ice baths. Everyone active - you can do better!

Really gone downhill. Cleanliness of the pool and changing areas is really bad. Lockers with rubbish in them, one changing room had a used nappy in it and a lot of the locks on the lockers don’t even work anymore. The floor of the people feels really gritty and the whole place looks incredibly dated now. Wouldn’t recommend.

Terrible staff. You arrive and are ignored… completely ignored while they discuss who’s on what shifts for 10 mins. Then you’re rudely pushed through as if they really don’t want you there. The pool itself is freezing, dirty and really tatty. The murals are faded, the fibre glass scenes are broken and there’s sand all over the bottom of the pool. You get given 1 hour to swim, at the 40 min mark they turn all of the jets and kids stuff off akin to turning the big light on at 3am on a night out. With the new ownership you’d have thought these issues would have been addressed by now.

It was good, there are an area that's shallow for toddlers, a slide for older people, but this is unmanned so children were being silly on it and not following the rules. There was bubble beds as well.
