Hotel staff were excellent. Receptionist saw my wife had some mobility issues so swapped us into a room on the ground floor near the breakfast restaurant. Room was very spacious and clean. There is a pub next door and would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Northampton

Good points - good staff, receptionist was excellent, breakfast lady was very pleasant, free parking. Not so good, no aircon, bathroom (214) needs a deep clean, plug only on one side of bed. I'm afraid my recent experience with Premier Inn is that they are frequently in need of refurbishment, they used to be pleasant places to stay, not so much these days.

No air conditioning, window didn't shut but rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, staff were friendly. Handy that there's a pub nearby but no other facilities unfortunately due to location.

room was old and stunk of mould and damp heating on wall has literally burnt the wall above it which doesn’t give me much hope fan dusty kettle full of limescale as well at taps and shower head hairs in sink and bath plug and seal all around bath was mouldy and was covered in previous guests shower gel? curtains stained and had mould window seal mouldy bedding had stains, hair and didn’t seem fresh mattress protector was stained whole room was coated in dust after complaining i was told to put in a complaint online, nothing was done, was later offered a pillow at 10.30pm 🤦🏼♀️. man at desk complained cleaners and clearly didn’t know what he was doing. said the hotel was fully booked so couldn’t change room, yet can go online and book a whole new room… Very very upsetting after the price i payed.
