Our stay at Holly Arch Bed & Breakfast was unfortunately below our expectations. The property itself is in a quiet area and the outside of the house looks nice, but there were several issues during our stay that made the experience disappointing overall.

Should be nice. Let down by rooms and patio outside not being cleaned. Table still filthy from old takeaway with noodles dried and stuck to table, large items of rubbish left under the bed. Such a shame as otherwise looks like it could be very good. It was a very hot evening there are no windows so door has to be left wide open. Ok for us but not good for female travellers. Bathroom has sliding door with significant gaps so little privacy. A new cleaning team and remodelling of rooms needed. The hotel is remote from the rooms by 6 minute walk.

Super happy with our stay at the Arch house, Room was very clean, plenty big enough for two with some great coffee/tea and biscuits. Parking with it is very handy and nice and quiet in the evening. Would definitely be back.

Me and my wife had a fantastic stay at Arch House. The room we had was very well presented and very clean, nice furniture and fitting used. we did like the detailed touches like a full kettle of water to make a brew after a long travel down. No complaints at breakfast food was cooked correctly not burnt or underdone and plenty of other choices over full cooked breakfast was available. Staff very friendly and welcoming Apon staying at Arch House. Interesting way of checking in and out by collecting keys from an envelope on the table in reception with your name on it but still wasn't hard to work out what to do and plus where your room was located Overall very pleased with the stay and would recommend to friends
