Sycamore Cottages - Lower Sycamore Cottage

Ambleside sits at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, surrounded by fell walks and the Lake District's most visited attractions. Lower Sycamore Cottage is ground-floor accommodation in the town centre, where a pub is less than 200 metres away and restaurants sit even closer. The lake itself is within walking distance, as is Stock Ghyll Force, a 70-foot waterfall on the edge of town.

The cottage is a single bedroom with one bathroom, sleeping two people. Everything is on one level: a combined living and sleeping space with an electric wood burner for warmth, a separate dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave included. The shower room has a heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all provided. There's a small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, and a parking permit for the local car parks comes with your stay. One dog is welcome.

The cottage suits couples and walkers exploring the fells and lakeside paths that branch out from Ambleside itself. The bus interchange at Stand 1 is near by for connections further around the lake.
