Windermere's lakeside attractions and fell walks are minutes away from White Moss, a substantial Victorian property on The Terrace. Built by the celebrated architect Augustus Pugin, it's one of five historic houses he designed for this prestigious street. The whole place is yours alone, with space to spread across five bedrooms sleeping up to twelve guests.
Layout spans three floors: on the ground level, a living room with woodburner and a dining room both have seating for large groups, while the kitchen holds two ovens plus an Aga and range for serious cooking. A cinema room in the cellar offers twelve cinema seats and a 75-inch screen for quieter evenings. The first floor contains four bedrooms with a mix of king, double and single beds, served by a shower room and bathroom. The top floor has a fifth bedroom with four singles and a statement bathroom. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, and wi-fi keeps you connected.
Outside, there's a private hot tub, courtyard garden with furniture and barbecue, parking for four cars, and an electric car charging point. One dog is welcome. The house does not permit smoking inside.
