The Old Bike Store

The Old Bike Store is a converted two-bedroom house sleeping four, tucked into Clarence Gardens within walking distance of York's city centre. You get the whole place to yourself: a ground-floor open-plan living area with patio doors onto an enclosed courtyard, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and two bedrooms with zip-and-link beds that can be separated into singles. The ground floor also has a shower room; upstairs is the second bedroom. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with parking for one car.

The courtyard is private and furnished for outdoor dining. A pub is within a mile. One small dog can stay free. The walk into York takes you along Gillygate, lined with independent shops and cafés. No smoking in the property.
