Castle Hedingham is a village in Essex, in the east of England. It takes its name from the Norman castle that dominates the settlement, built in the 12th century and standing on a substantial mound above the River Blackwater valley.

Hedingham Castle is the focal point of the village. The castle keep, built around 1140, survives largely intact and can be explored with views across the valley from the top. The Colne Valley Railway, a heritage railway operating preserved steam and diesel trains, runs nearby and offers trips along the valley.
