Bwthyn Pabi is a traditional stone cottage built to last, with room for four guests spread across two bedrooms and a bathroom. The main living space centres on a woodburner, paired with a separate kitchen that has the essentials for self-catering: electric cooker, dishwasher, and microwave. Upstairs are a kingsize bedroom and a second room with two singles; essentials like bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, as are initial logs for the fire. A courtyard garden and on-road parking complete the setup. Note that there are 18 steps in the courtyard itself.
Location here matters: the cottage sits within Gwydir Forest Park in Conwy, roughly 4.5 miles from Betws-y-Coed, putting you close to serious walking country and mountain bike trails. The Snowdonia landscape opens up in every direction—Swallow Falls is accessible, as are steam trains up Snowdon and the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens. For different pace, Portmeirion, Conwy castle and Victorian Llandudno lie further afield along the coast. A pub sits within half a mile; shops and restaurants are in the nearby town. The property is non-smoking.
