This self-contained wing of a 17th-century farmhouse sits within 200 acres of working farmland in the Conwy Valley, where sheep, cattle, ponies and donkeys graze across National Trust land. The building itself retains period character—a wood-burning stove anchors the living room, and the bedrooms include a French rosewood bed—but the interior is practical rather than period-costume, with everything guests need for a real stay rather than a museum experience.
Two bedrooms sleep four: one double, one with twin singles. The bathroom has a bath and shower. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there's a separate playroom with a billiards table. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included; initial fuel for the woodburner is provided. A lawned play area with garden furniture and BBQ looks out over the grounds. The property has its own parking and a bike store, and a 100-acre farm trail runs through the estate.
One pet is welcome. The Conwy Valley offers serious walking and cycling; Betws y Coed, a few miles away, has a leisure centre with pool, sauna and gym available to guests. There is a river within the grounds. No smoking indoors.
