High Fellside

High Fellside sits on the slope of Wansfell Pike, set back from Ambleside village. You arrive at ground level where a utility room with washer-dryer opens onto a bedroom with king bed and ensuite shower. Climb to the first floor and the main living space comes into view—a spacious room with a picture window framing views across to Loughrigg and the surrounding fell range. A wood burner anchors the room, with kitchen facilities including electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all essentials for self-catering at hand. Two further bedrooms sit on this level: one with a king bed, one with twin singles. The family bathroom has a bath with shower and heated towel rail. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included.

The enclosed patio opens from the living area, facing the fells with a bench positioned to take in the panorama. A beck runs nearby; you can hear it from the garden. The property sits adjacent to Blue Hill Wood, where deer, owls and bats move through the trees. Ambleside itself—with independent shops, restaurants and bars—is a short walk downhill. No smoking inside the house.
