Lochboisdale is a small settlement on the east coast of the Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. It is the main port for the island, with the ferry terminal connecting to Oban on the mainland. The surrounding landscape is typical of South Uist: moorland and lochs with views across to neighbouring islands.
