Camping in Leebotwood

The Shropshire Hills around Leebotwood offer some genuinely rewarding camping country, with the Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge both within easy reach and a scattering of small, independent campsites tucked into the hills and valleys nearby. As with anywhere in England, wild camping is not legally permitted without the landowner's express permission, so stick to licensed campsites, certificated sites, or seek permission directly from farmers and estates if you want a more remote pitch. The National Trust land on the Long Mynd, in particular, does not allow informal camping, so plan on a proper site.

Evenings can still turn cool even in summer given the exposed hill terrain, so it pays to be prepared regardless of the season. For those who prefer a roof over their heads without giving up the outdoor feel, glamping sites in the area offer a comfortable alternative, often with views out over the surrounding countryside and easy access to walking routes straight from the site.
